In a football article from two days ago in the Los Angeles times, the article was talking about a new stadium built for a college. The author called the stadium a "brand spanking new stadium". The following sentence: "I hate to use the word spanking around college kids, because it just gives them ideas."

As a college student, I have to agree with that sentence. It does give us ideas!
